Not just your average landscaping company
Giving back with every project
Landscaping with a difference
At Urban Eden, we believe in doing business differently. Every project we take on is an opportunity to uplift people, regenerate the land, and give back to the communities we live and work in.
Giving back is part of our everyday practice, not just something we do on the side. Through purposeful partnerships and grassroots initiatives, we’re creating real, local impact. And the best part? You’re part of it too, just by working with us.
Local employment & work experience
We proudly partner with Hōhepa Canterbury to provide ongoing work experience for people with intellectual disabilities. Tasks like weeding, planting, and mowing offer meaningful hands-on experience in a safe, inclusive environment, with guidance from our friendly team.
Your booking = a donation
When you book your garden project with Urban Eden, 5% of the labour cost goes to a local cause, at no extra cost to you.
Booked directly with us? You choose the charity, or we’ll split it between a few close to our heart like Trees for Canterbury, Hōhepa, or other grassroots groups.
Booked through UpstreamNZ 5% is donated to local youth charities, supporting the next generation.
The Kindness Project
Once a month, we offer a free garden service to someone in need, whether it’s a solo parent, someone going through a tough time, or an elderly neighbour. This is our way of spreading joy and restoring dignity through nature.

Sustainable choices every step of the way
From the plants we source to the materials we use, sustainability is embedded in everything we do. That includes:
Supporting local growers and social enterprises like Trees for Canterbury
Using organic products and eco-conscious landscaping practices
Designing for low waste, resilience, and long-term health
Let’s build something beautiful, for your garden, your community,
and your future.
